Sodexho USA Wins 5-Year, $11 Million Contract with St. John's University

NEW YORK - June 6, 2005 -Sodexho USA, [NYSE: SDX], the leading foodservice provider in North America, announced today it has been awarded the dining services contract for St. John's University in New York with first-year booked revenues estimated at over $11 million. St. John's University is a multi-campus university with locations in Queens, Manhattan, Staten Island and Long Island serving more than 15,000 students and nearly 2,000 faculty members.

Sodexho's partnership with the university will include extensive renovation plans for all four campuses that will take place over the next five years. Part of the renovation will bring popular restaurants to the campuses such as Sodexho's award-winning upscale, coffeehouse, Jazzman's® Café, featuring Seattle's Best® Coffee as well as a complete menu of assorted salads, soups, sandwiches and baked goods. In the future, students will also be able to enjoy Quiznos Sub® and Einstein Bros® on the Queens campus.

The Marketplace at Montgoris Hall on the Queens campus, will offer an integrated culinary program, featuring advanced food technology, new recipe development and will empower local chefs to create fresh, new menu items based on regional preferences. The program will give students, faculty and staff restaurant-quality dining in a trendy and inviting atmosphere.
