GAITHERSBURG, Md., November 9, 2007 -Sodexho, Inc., the nation's leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services, announced that Diversity Edge Magazine has named Dr. Rohini Anand, senior vice president and chief diversity officer, to its 2007 Top 20 Diversity Champions List. Dr. Anand is responsible for leading and supporting Sodexho's North America and global diversity initiatives. The annual list highlights individuals who have made a difference in furthering diversity and inclusion.
A globally recognized expert on workplace diversity and inclusion, Anand is credited with refining Sodexho's workforce diversity strategy and launching employee network groups designed to address the interests and concerns of Sodexho's women and minority employees, developing and implementing an equal employment opportunity training program, and creating a "diversity scorecard" which links each manager's diversity achievement with annual compensation.
