GAITHERSBURG, Md., November 5, 2007 - Dr. Rohini Anand, global chief diversity officer and senior vice president for Sodexho Inc., recently was awarded one of the 2007 Diversity Officer Leadership Awards (DOLA) during the Network and Affinity Leadership Congress (NALC) in Washington, DC. The DOLA's were presented by Diversity Best Practices® and Working Mother® Media, the largest media company focusing on diversity.
Dr. Anand was honored for providing leadership for Sodexho's diversity and inclusion strategies and its integration into Sodexho's strategic imperatives. She is also a leading expert in the field of diversity and inclusion, a frequent presenter at national and international conferences and has made numerous appearances on national TV as a subject matter expert on organizational change and diversity.
Sodexho's diversity efforts have received broad recognition across the globe, earning more than 25 awards in 2007 alone. These include recognition by LATINA Style magazine as one of the "50 Best Companies for Latinas to Work For in the U.S.," Hispanic Trends magazine's ranking as one of the "Top 50 Corporations for Supplier Diversity," and many others.
The DOLA honors those individuals whose work has strengthened and grown the entire diversity sector above and across corporate borders.
