GAITHERSBURG, Md., November 26, 2007 -Sodexho, Inc., the leading provider of integrated food and facilities management services in North America, announced today the appointment of James Taylor as president of the company's U.S. Senior Services Division.
In his new role, Taylor will drive growth for Sodexho's retirement and skilled nursing segments. Sodexho's Senior Services currently provides services to more than 450 clients nationwide with 4,500 employees.
Taylor will report to Patrick E. Connolly, market president for Sodexho's Health Care Services. “James has a demonstrated track record of success and passion for serving our clients and customers to consistently deliver value,” said Connolly. “James' extensive experience in both operations and strategic planning make him the ideal choice to lead the Senior Services team in increasing Sodexho's share of the U.S. seniors market.”
Taylor moves into the role after six years with Sodexho and 24 years foodservice industry experience. Most recently, he served as Sodexho's corporate vice president in the Office of the President reporting to the CEO. Prior to that, he also served as vice president of operations and as senior vice president for National Accounts in Sodexho's Corporate Services Division, with responsibility for more than $160 million in annual sales.
